Located nearby, in the heart of St. Charles, is Lindenwood University. Like much of the local St. Charles area, it has deep roots in the history of the area that goes back to the early 1800s. Once an all-girls institution, it is a private liberal arts university with strengths in athletics, music, arts, and media communications. In athletics, the Lindenwood Lions represent a variety of sports. They play Division II Athletics in the NCAA and do well in Football, Soccer, Rugby, Basketball, and Hockey. The J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts hosts a wide range of theater and musical productions featuring their students that are open to the public. They are also well known for attracting comedians, performers, business and political professionals to campus to participate in their Speaker Series. This program is open to students, faculty, and the community and typically covers various issues and topics of interest.

Turn left from our property onto Riverport Drive. Turn left onto MO-141/Maryland Heights Expy. Stay right and merge onto 1-70 West toward Kansas City. Take Exit 228 merging right onto MO-94 E / 1st Capitol Drive. Turn left onto W. Clay Street, then Left onto Oakleaf Drive to enter the campus.
